Senegal: Man is shot dead as protests erupt in Bignona

A 20-year-old man has been shot dead during clashes with police in Bignona, local media reported Thursday.

Senegal has degenerated into uncertainty following the arrest of opposition leader Ousmane Sonko. Sonko was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly disturbing public order.

According to Senego, a 20-year-old man has now died after being shot during clashes with law enforcement.
