Army announces shooting exercise, tells citizens not be scared

The army has announced two firing exercises involving troops at its Lance Corporal Bojang Memorial Range.

The first of the exercises began on February 2 and it will last until February 12. A second exercise would begin on February 8 and end on February 26.

In a statement, the army called on those living in towns such as Brikama, Kassa Kunda and Jalanbang to not panic. They’re also asked to avoid the area.
