Top APRC women leader Isatou Jifanga Jarju says enemies never thought NPP and APRC will unite

APRC’s top women leader Isatou Jifanga Jarju has said ‘enemies’ never thought NPP and APRC would come together.

IJJ stated this while speaking at President Barrow’s meet-the-people tour meeting in Brikama on Sunday.

The APRC national women mobiliser said: “We never had change through an election. This is why excesses that should not have happened happened. But what a Muslim should do is to forgive one another. This is why God made NPP and APRC forgive each other.

“Enemies never thought these two parties will come together. When enemies were making their plans, wanting to treat you with contempt, God then showed them He will make you (President Barrow) lead again and they will not be able to do anything about it.”
