The umpire lives! IEC chairman Alieu Momar Njie is ALIVE

Alieu Momar Njie is not dead contrary to reports suggesting the octogenarian IEC chairman has died.

Unconfirmed reports suggesting Mr Njie died emerged Monday evening.

The Fatu Network has gathered he is in fact alive, as his US-based son Momodou posted to his Facebook page his father is alive and well.
