Friends of Banka Manneh in Atlanta have launched a fundraising to help him as he faces a legal battle that threatens the very stability of his family. As he stood with us over the years by taking a lead in confronting issues within our community, this effort was launched as requested by the community at large, to stand with him during this difficult period.
This is a local initiative by a broad section of Atlantans to support their local Son, who over the years has been a pillar in the Atlanta community, never missing an opportunity to be in the front line by responding to emergencies in the community, investing in the education of our children through local associations, and responding to emergency needs whenever it happens in the Gambia. Banka epitomizes the ideal community activist driven by his belief that it takes a village to build a viable community.
We are appealing to the Atlanta community and every friend of Banka all over the world, to join us and help Banka during this difficult time of legal challenge, in order to help him maintain stability in his family.
