Momodou Sabally today reserved special opprobrium for Madi Jobarteh as he reacted to criticism by Gambians following his comments against Essa Faal.
Mr Jobarteh was among a raft of Gambians who condemned Mr Sabally over his extraordinary slating of Mr Faal. He had asked UDP to sack him.
But Mr Sabally said today: “As for the ugly idiot Madi moe kuntang Jobarteh, let him go apologize to his ex-wives he has been beating and abusing; and also the many girls he keeps abusing day and night!”
Mr Jobarteh responding to Mr Sabally’s claims branded the former secretary general a cowardice and prayed for him to fight light.
He wrote: “Hilarious!!! So this is all you can do Sabally Momodou! Yet you are supposedly an intellectual and The Gambia’s pen!! Madi Jobarteh! Beating wives and abusing women? In this Gambia! On this earth! Wow.
“So you went to rapists and Jammeh enablers to feed you trash because you lack the courage and intelligence to defend your words and challenge me intellectually with reason and objective analysis!!!
“Sabs, be clever. If you claim to be a man of intellect and faith then uphold sacred values and standards in dealing with fellow humans. It’s weakness and cowardice to seek to impugn the reputation and character of a person just because you have no ideas to confront his ideas.
“My level of decency and intellect will not allow me to injure your person or get even near your family to disrespect them, regardless! It’s not in my nature.
“You cannot claim to be a motivator of the young yet you wallow in mudslinging and unprovoked aggression!
“You cannot claim the Holy Prophet to be your guide yet you are irresponsible with your word! What you tell people reflects not on people but it exposes more who you are!
“As a father and senior citizen, your ways should not be characterized by insults, falsehoods and unbridled attitudes.
“I hope you find light to open your mind and heart to realize your humanity and the humanity of all!”
