Home sweet home: Barrow arrives in Mankamang Kunda but Basse market is now item No 1 on Gambian leader’s to-do list

President Adama Barrow has arrived in Mankamang Kunda, his hometown ahead of a 10-day visit of far-flung Gambia.

President Barrow is billed to launch the Laminkoto-Pasamas road as well as Gambia College’s Basse ‘annex’. He would also be engaged in the handing over of the hydrology headquarters in Bansang.

GRTS reported on Wednesday the president has arrived in Mankamang Kunda, his hometown. He would visit the doomed Basse market Thursday morning following a fire outbreak that brought the market to its knees.
