Journalist Essa Jallow has handed Fatou Jaw Manneh a brutal tell-off over her resignation telling her: ‘give us a break please’.
FJM on Tuesday said she has resigned as honorary adviser to President Barrow and shared a copy of her resignation letter.
While critics of President Barrow welcomed her decision to quit, journalist Essa Jallow is not impressed.
He wrote: “When you got the job, you didn’t publish your appointment letter and TOR. You resigned, and you want us to see your resignation letter. Give us a break please.”
Fatou Jaw Manneh was appointed as honorary adviser to President Barrow on strategic communication in June.
She came under criticism for taking a job whose terms of reference remained largely uncler. She declined an interview request by The Fatu Network while serving in the role.
In her letter on Tuesday, FJM said she could not access her roles and functions ‘I was meant to serve in your government’. She also attacked the president for agreeing to work with APRC.
