Gambia Democratic Congress has issued a statement congratulating The Point newspaper co-founder Pap Saine on his achievement of most respected print media CEO in Africa.
GDC in their statement signed by leader Mamma Kandeh said: “The Gambia Democratic Party joins all Gambians in sending to renowned Gambian and indeed Pan African Journalist, Mr. PAPE SAINE, a hearty congratulation for his most deserved award as Africa’s Most Respected in the Print Media category.
“We laud this achievement for The Gambia and The Point newspaper where as CEO you saw to it that all news is covered and especially where you render advice to the President, which is followed by all readers with much admiration for your leadership.
“We wish you continued success as you continue to champion freedom of Press, and in so doing entertain and keep your audience informed and cover all stories in the Sports, Political and Social and Economic news. Keep up the great work with your able team.”
