Campaign against gender-based violence gets huge boost as training for police gets underway

A training to build the know-how of Gambian cops in documenting, investigating and prosecuting perpetrators of gender-based violence has gotten underway in Brikama-ba, CRR.

The Gambia Police Force has partnered Paradise Foundation to equip its officers with the requisite knowledge in handling gender-based violence cases.

The training is supported by UNFPA.
