Fabakary Tombong Jatta said on Wednesday President Adama Barrow’s first two years in office was marked by bad blood among citizens.

FTJ insisted the whole conflict was caused by UDP leader Darboe and it held President Barrow’s government in terms of delivery of development dividends.

FTJ said at President Barrow’s rally in his backyard Tallinding: “Honourable Fatoumata said something and Honourable Omar Amadou Jallow repeated it and Gambians are saying it quietly. Now we know why God made that for President Barrow. Fatoumatta said President Barrow could not work in the first two years of his term in office.

“But what was clear and the reason President Barrow trusted Ousainou Darboe so much to the point Gambians were wondering if there is a president… They did whatever they liked regarding government business. God enabled that for us to know who is Ousainou Darboe and his UDP people.

“What became clear is that when he fell out with the person he trusted (Darboe), this was when Gambians came to know who is President Adama Barrow.

“Fitna (conflict) decreased in the country, vileness decreased in the country and development started to come to Gambia. So if we had known you would have started your reign without your this old man.”
