On Monday, he told the TRRC it was Musa Jammeh who said ‘we came for you’ after the feared military man showed up at his office with two soldiers equipped with AK-47 rifles.

According to Jobe, he was put in a tinted-glass Nissan patrol car and taken to the NIA with Jammeh asking him a question as they arrived at the NIA.

“That’s where he asked me a question about ‘on the whole you know something about this foiled coup’. I told him I don’t know. He told me ‘okay, I will take you to Mile 2 and you will spend the rest of your life in Mile 2’. I told him, ‘Thank you very much because you’re not God’,” Jobe told the TRRC.
