UDP leader Ousainou Darboe will emerge winner of the December 4 presidential election, according to his closest aide.
UDP deputy leader Aji Yam Secka believes Darboe will pip his rivals to the post in the crucial poll but only after urging Gambians to repay Mr Darboe.
Speaking Saturday in Njaba Kunda, Yam Secka said: “Let’s repay Ousainou Darboe. Are you going to repay him? How are you going to repay him?
“You will register and on December 4, you wake up early and join the queue to fill Ousainou Darboe’s box. And on the 5th of December, we will all hear Ousainou Darboe has won.”
Yam Secka had in an interview with Paradise TV disclosed her ‘repay Darboe’ comments were what triggered the souring of her relations with President Barrow.
“For me, Adama Barrow is angry at me but it turns out I’m angrier at him,” Yam Secka said.
