Teen wrestling turns into tragedy as 14-year-old boy dies

Police on Saturday confirmed the death of a 14-year-old boy during a wrestling match with another teen.

Police said two students aged 15 and 14 were wrestling but one of the kids died from the stunt.

Police spokesman Lamin Njie told The Fatu Network: “We can confirm the incident at Ngayen Sanjal in which two students 15 years old and 14 years were wrestling.

“The 14 year old who was wrestled to the ground was later rushed to the Ngayen Sanjal health center where he was pronounced dead.”
