Sanyang quickly recovers as top businessman Abubakary Jawara offers to rebuild destroyed police station

Sanyang will have a quickly recovery from violent protests that rocked the town after businessman Abubakary Jawara offered to rebuild the town’s police station destroyed during Monday’s violent protests.

Youth of Sanyang set the town’s police station on fire on Monday as they took to the streets to protest the death of a native who was stabbed during a botched robbery.

GACH boss Abubakary Jawara will build back the police station and will travel to Sanyang on Wednesday, sources close to the businessman said. An official proposal will be made during the trip, the sources said.
