Deputy spokesman of the opposition APRC has slammed two of its expelled members over their participation in last month’s protest by Three Years Jotna pressure group.
Thousands of Gambians took to the street last month to demand President Adama Barrow honour the coalition gentleman pact and step down from power.
APRC has now announced it has swung the axe on five members of “to redress their actions and behaviors pose threat of jeopardizing the harmony and unity of the party.” Two of the expelled figures are known to be members of Operation Three Years Jotna.
And despite saying the group has the right to express their demands through protest, Dodou Jah laid into two expelled APRC members over their part in the protest using APRC’s name.
“Some say APRC you’re part of the three years, we say no we have a deal. But they say Kittim Jarju and Sulayman are of the three year [sic].
“Kittim came all the way from Germany saying he is representing APRC which was not…,” he told The Fatu Network.
