The Central Committee of the PPP has announced application for various positions in the party are now ahead of the party’s congress later this month.
According to the former ruling party, various executive positions including secretary general and party leader are all up for grabs.
The positions include Secretary-General and Party Leader, Deputy Secretary-General and Party Leader, National President, Deputy National President, National Treasurer and Deputy National Treasurer and registered members are asked to apply.
“Interested bona-fide party members can please address their applications to the party National President Alhagie Lamin Nanko. C/o Opposite Nice Building Tabokoto, Kanifing Municipality.
“All applications must be sealed and delivered latest Wednesday on the 10th of February, 2021 to the administrative secretary Ms Maimuna Sawaneh. Late applications will not be considered,” a statement by the party’s interim leader Kebba Jallow said.
