NPP says they invited UDP but UDP’s spokesman says Darboe did not receive any invitation

The National People’s Party invited UDP to its launching held on Saturday at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

The party invited all political parties in the country with Essa Dampha tasked to make sure all an invitation card is delivered to all parties.

Dampha told The Fatu Network he gave UDP’s invitation to Karafa Sonko on Friday.

However, UDP spokesman Almamy Taal told The Fatu Network the senior administrative secretary did not receive any formal invitation neither has the party leader received any invitation. He however said the senior administrative secretary will check with other party leaders.
