Night clubs and casinos across the country would remain closed after they failed to make the list of newly opened public places by the government.
The government announced the reopening of hotels, motels, restaurants, bars, gyms, video clubs, museums and swimming pools on Wednesday – as it continues to relax various measures put in place due to coronavirus. A statement said President Adama Barrow was behind the move.
Night clubs and casinos have however been left out.
“All night clubs and casinos shall remain closed,” government spokesperson Ebrima Sankareh said in the Wednesday statement.
