Kora genius Jaliba Kuyateh will launch his album Democracy on Saturday 10 January at QCity.
The top musician met journalists on Monday ahead of the big event saying he’s expecting a full-house.

“I believe from all the launchings, this one is the biggest because of the organisation that I have seen. So I think we will not fit in QCity.
“One man expressed his concern about democracy and the country seems chaotic about this topic democracy. I thought I should come up with this (democracy) to explain what it really means.
“When I started Kora, it was totally [about] praise-singing of our warriors, of our kings. I am the one who turned the page. That is we try to educate through the music.”
