Mamma Kandeh has for the first time publicly reacted to APRC allying with NPP saying: ‘it’s not my business’.
Speaking to supporters in Farafenni on Saturday, Mr Kandeh said: “I will not speak on APRC’s alliance with Barrow because it’s not my business and I don’t want to know. But Gambians must be careful: real APRC supporters are not part of this coalition.
“But I will to tell that executive… In fact it’s not the entire executive, it’s a few of the executive members. I want them to forget about Mamma Kandeh’s affairs because I don’t have their time. I have been hearing them speaking about me.
“They said I met with Essa Faal. What I said (criticism) about the TRRC they have never said any such thing. But I will greet Essa Faal when we meet, I will greet Barrow when I meet him, I will greet Ousainou Darboe when I meet him. I will never be a part of politics of division and disunity.
“Barrow thinks he will win by scavenging for an alliance. He is the only president whom I have seen taking parties and putting them together. If you trust yourself, you don’t have to go look for a coalition as a president.”
