Halifa Sallah has been saluted by a raft of Gambians online as the respected politician turned 68 years old on Saturday.
Sallah was born on April 3, 1953.
He is the leader of PDOIS and his career as a politician spans more than three decades.
PDOIS youth bureau chief Kexx Sanneh wrote: “You are not only a PRIDE of our generation, but a genuine voice for REAL CHANGE in our country and the continent of Africa. You are a symbol of our national pride. You have set yourself apart by inspiring and impacting generations.”
