GRTS Editor Resigns

Ndey Kumba Demba, an editor at Gambia Radio and Television Services (GRTS) TV has resigned The Fatu Network has been reliably informed.

She joined the national broadcaster in April 2011, as an announcer and rose through the ranks to the position of reporter, an editor and a trainer.

Ndey Kumba worked at GRTS for six years and holds an Associate Degree in Journalism from Des Moines Area Community College, in Iowa, United States. When Fatu Network contacted her, she confirmed the story saying she resigned from GRTS since last month.

She now works at The Gambia Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (GCCPC) as an Advocacy Officer.
