‘Even God changes his mind’: Sheikh Tijan Hydara speaks on break up of his short-lived alliance with Jammeh’s supporters

GANU leader Sheikh Tijan Hydara has addressed the issue of his short-lived alliance with former President Jammeh’s supporters.

Mr Hydara’s political fortune boomed but only briefly after Jammeh changed his mind regarding his supporters backing Mr Hydara.

Speaking exclusively to The Fatu Network, Hydara said he is not bothered by the break up of the alliance as it could be God who changed his mind.

He said: “Even God changes his mind, what is the problem? You said I said in the rally that it’s God that destined the alliance with APRC. What about if God changes his mind, if God decides that that is not the best for me.”
