‘Disappointed’ CRC to speak to journalists on Thursday to state its position over the blocking of draft constitution

The Constitutional Review Commission has announced it will hold a news conference on Thursday to react to the rejection of the draft constitution by MPs.

MPs last week rejected a bill that sought to allow the draft constitution to move to a referendum.

The CRC will now react to the decision in a news conference on Thursday, according to a dispatch on Tuesday.

A CRC official told The Fatu Network the commission is ‘disappointed’ and has now deemed it necessary to react to the decision.
