Darboe qualifies! IEC clears UDP leader Ousainou Darboe amid rampant talk he is not qualified

UDP leader Ousainou Darboe has passed IEC’s nomination test and will be contesting the December presidential election.

Mr Darboe is one of six candidates cleared by the IEC in run in the presidential election in a few weeks time.

It comes amid talk that has persisted for months that the UDP leader is not qualified to run in the election.

Some of his supporters online peddled the claim that he has been disqualified while some vowed that there would be no election should his disqualification be true.
