Staff at Labranda Coral Beach Resort and Spa on Monday staged an unprecedented protest against the management of the hotel over alleged unlawful sacking of workers.
An aggrieved staff confirming the strike to The Fatu Network on Monday said it is in response to the ‘unlawful termination of workers’ contracts and poor welfare.’

“This protest is to show our frustration against the management. The management of this hotel doesn’t care about workers’ welfare. The salary is poor and there is no job security,” he said.
Labranda Coral Beach Resort and Spa, formerly Sheraton Hotel, is located at Brufut Heights.
