‘Back Way’: Gambians stranded in Niger are helped to return back to Gambia

Eight Gambians stranded in Niger return home safely through the International Organisation for Migration.

Their return was under IOM’s Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) program.

Upon arrival, the returnees were screened for any vulnerabilities, including medical needs amidst the pandemic, IOM said in an update on its official Facebook page.
