Senegal – Back Way: Many die as boat carrying migrants explodes

Many have died after a boat carrying migrants caught fire and sank near Mbour on Friday.

Senegalese media reported that more than ten young people have died in the boat disaster – with President Macky Sall commiserating with victims’ families in a tweet.

It comes even as two boats were also intercepted by the Senegalese navy.
