Presidents of Senegal and Guinea Bissau arrive for massive Jarra Soma event

Presidents of Senegal and Guinea Macky Sall and Umaro Sissoco Embalo have arrived in The Gambia to join President Adama Barrow in commissioning the OMVG substation in Jarra Soma, LRR.

The leaders will jointly commission the substation after more than three years of work.

The OMVG is an over 700 million dollars electricity project that seeks to improve the electricity conditions of The Gambia, Senegal, Guinea Bissau and Guinea Conakry.

The Samba Ngallo dam in Guinea will be the source of the electricity.
