President Adama Barrow has said erstwhile national chairman of opposition GDC has seen the work his government is doing which is what made him to join NPP.
“People like Dr Sabally have seen the work we’re doing. This is why he came to join us,” the president said on Monday in an Essau meeting where Dr Sabally made his membership of NPP official.
The president had earlier welcomed Dr Sabally into NPP and GDC supporters he came with to the party.
“We want to let him know I’m happy for your coming and do know that you came to your house. You have said it’s work that made you come, so we welcome you in order for us to build the country.
“The GDC supporters you came with, their interpreter is here and he has also come, their national assembly member for Jokadu is also here. We welcome you all,” the president said.
