Police confirm two people killed after Ecomig vehicle crashes into three-wheeled bicycle

Police have confirmed that two people died after an accident involving an Ecomig vehicle.

Police spokesman Lamin Njie told The Fatu Network: “We can confirm an accident that occurred at the Mariama Kunda Junction in the early hours of Sunday 5th September 2021.

“The accident involved an Ecomig vehicle with registration number 47- GA-51 and a Tricycle with registration number MC- WCR- 4491-A driven by Muhammed K Bah.

“Two fatalities have been confirmed at the hospital, while four others sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

“Police have opened an accident investigation into the matter and appropriate actions will follow.”
