National People’s Party members are gearing up for a massive rally involving Gambian youth in Banjul, KM and WCR.
The president’s party has been working its way to the top since its launch at the start of this year.
The 20,000 youth rally scheduled for Friday is one of many big activities the party has arranged amid the December presidential election.
NPP topshot Seedy Njie told The Fatu Network on Thursday: “The national youth wing of the NPP will organise a 20,000 youth rally at The Arch 22 tomorrow. The objective is to show to the whole world that majority of the young people of this country are behind the president and they appreciate his intervention and his strive in youth empowerment and youth employment and he’s being very tolerant and democratic as a leader and that his peaceful nature is second to none and they will return him to power on the 4th of December with a landslide victory.
“His intervention in infrastructure, energy, agriculture, health, water and sanitation as well as youth employment and employability and his commitment to the cause of the young people of this country. They want to return a motion of gratitude to him. That is why 20,000 youths will be here tomorrow, all the NPP people and all NPP supporters and membership in the country are notified. Another 10,000 political rally in Foni Bondali will take place on Saturday.”
