Former army Lieutenant Colonel Lamin Gano said on Saturday APRC pulling forces with NPP can only be a landslide victory.
APRC announced earlier on Saturday that they struck a deal with NPP for a merger in the December election.
Mr Gano who served as former President Jammeh’s aide-de-camp wrote: “Less we forget, this party alone pulled 40% in 2016. Combined that with the power of incumbency and the results can only be a landslide. With capital L.”
APRC chieftains and militants filled the Coco Ocean event hall on Saturday afternoon to tell reporters they have succeeded in building an alliance with NPP.
According to the interim leader of the party Fabakary Tombong Jatta, the agreement was signed on Thursday September 2.
