In Senegal, Thione Seck dies after three days illness

Legendary Senegal musician Thione Seck has died after a brief illness, according to Senego.

Seck who battled it out with the likes of Youssou Ndour in Senegal’s Mbalax music scene for many decades died early Sunday, the outlet said. He was 66.

Thione is music superstar Wally Seck’s father.
