Gambia Democratic Congress National Youth President has confirmed that talks are ongoing between GDC and former President Jammeh’s No Alliance Movement for a merger.
“Their spokesperson has confirmed it in the radio that Jammeh approved for them to work with GDC. So it’s true. We are talking with them to see Gambia has change. A political party is all about the supporters and right they have the supporters.
“So if they should come with their supporters and we add that we those of GDC, it will make the job easier for GDC to go to State House,” Mr Cham Jnr told Teranga FM.
The GDC top official told The Fatu Network his party welcomes the idea of working together.
A delegation of GDC among them MC Cham Jnr were at the house of NAM member Jerrending Sanyang on Monday following his arrest by police.
