BB Darbo will not be contesting for president in December as his GFA party has agreed with throw its weight behind UDP and its leader Ousainou Darboe.

Party chiefs met at UDP leader Darboe’s office on Saturday evening to put pen to paper regarding a deal that will see the two parties work together. The development could see UDP streamline votes in Kiang.

UDP had on Friday confirmed efforts aimed at collaboration between the two parties. The party said a mutual friend of the two Darboes initiated the talks.
