NAWEC asks citizens to buy enough power as it announces two-day service interruption

The National Water and Electricity Company has announced a planned interruption of commercial services as the company sets to implements a new information system.

The planned interruption of services will begin from Saturday the 23rd of October to the 25th.

The company in its press release urged all customers to make adequate power purchase for this period.

NAWEC said: “NAWEC wishes to notify their valued customers of a planned service interruption from saturday 23rd october 2021 at 11am to monday 25th october 2021 at 7am due to the implementation of a new information system.

“During this time NO vending of energy for prepayment customers will be possible. Customers are advised to purchase adquate power for this period. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause.”
