Melville Roberts sues government, wants 25 million dalasis

Embattled Melville Robertson Roberts has sued the government at the Ecowas court demanding 25 million dalasis in damages.

Mr Roberts is also asking the Ecowas court to order the government to reinstate him at the foreign ministry as well as apologise to him.

Mr Roberts has been living in UK for more than a year after allegations of sexual assault were made against him by several women. At least one woman have accused him of rape.

Police in March last year charged Mr Roberts following an investigation into the allegations and an arrest warrant was issued for him.

His lawsuit is dated Nov 5 and has been seen by The Fatu Network.
